I already touched on my weekend in Utah in the previous post, but I thought it would be fun to add a few more pictures into the mix. Yes, I know, some of these are a repeat. Oh well.
To go into more detail about these few pictures, we met up with some family and friends at a Belgium eatery (the most divine food consisting of Belgium waffles, frites, and some sort of meat that felt very reminiscent of Dutch street food), and then afterwards, while the rest of the adults wanted to stay and talk, I, having two wild children, decided to take them down the street to a park I'd seen earlier, and let them loose. There were lots of geese and ducks all about, so they had fun chasing those for a while, and then we played hide-and-seek in the "forest." Not really a forest, but close enough. Hence, all the trees in the backgrounds of these pictures. Wyatt loved it especially.
On Sunday, our day to visit Temple Square and attend a session of Conference, we did just that. The men in our group weren't thrilled at our lackadaisical approach to viewing temple square, or our need for photo ops, but they got over it...
...especially since it was SUCH a beautiful day, in SUCH a beautiful area!
Our trip was unfortunately short. Only Saturday and Sunday really, since Friday and Monday were spent driving up and then back down. But we really made use of our time and spent a few nights over at Uncle Bill's house for dinner and games, and also with Grandma and Grandpa. Thank goodness we're making another trip up in July and that time I'll get to spend a whole 2 weeks there!! Can't wait!
